Seeking a Members Representative

Could you help as a club member representative?

Committee representative as important independent roles that contributes to a successful club and ways of working. These committee roles help ensure diversity of views, ideas and inclusivity across the club. What is involved?

An active and interested participant in club activities.
motivated that the club the is successful and progresses.
Approachable, able talk with and represent  the views of members.
Participate to committees at Mountbatten.  Approx 6 weekly.

You can be an established member or new member.

June Committtee Report now on line

The  7th June committee  reports and meeting decisions are now online.

  • Matt Puddick appointed secretary.
  • Road and Circuit Racing on plan – PNECC 8th place regionally
  • Open TT prep, and season standing in the Club TT League.
  • Members track day places available for Calshott 20th August
  • CX prep for the season, and coaching
  • Hoodies, polos and tshirt off was a hit! Delivery est 15th July.
  • Reserve your place for the IOW – 11th September
  • Trip to Spain 23rd March  available – reserve a place before 1st Aug
  • PNECC Velogames League 2022 Tour de France  –  19 competing. Bon Chance.
  • Club members survey for 2023 will take place in Aug.

Busiest period for the club,  and a successful on. Thanks to our volunteers, participants and supporters. Vive le PNECC

Matthew Puddick appointed PNECC Secretary and Trustee

The Portsmouth North End  committee and trustees are pleased to announce that Matthew Puddick has been appointed Secretary and Trustee.

As a new volunteer to the committee Matt also brings an essential diversity and new perspective. 

Thank you all for welcoming and supporting Matt in his role. And importantly thanks to Matt for supporting us all as club members by stepping up and volunteering as Secretary.

May 2022 Committee Minutes

The minutes with reports and decision are online here.  The committee reviewed and agreed a series of initiative to support participation, volunteering and competition by Junior, Youth and racing teams across disciplines.

  • Race fee rebates for U18 Youth and Junior PNECC Members.
  • “Ride up” for a reduced fee f@ Dick Evans Memorial Summer Series Races.
  • Offer to members for Hoodies, Polos and T-shirts – free kit to event Volunteers & Representatives at TT, Circuit and Road Races.
  • Ride as a Team events – local entry to events at reduced fees.
  • Race Car experience  Opportunity for members to join one of the Summer Road Race Official and support cars. 11th June.
  • Junior and Youth Jersey rebate for members competing in newly purchased club kit.

The next committee will be Monday 20th June at Mountbatten, and is open for all members to participate and attend.

  • Race volunteer kit  –  full field of 80 for National B race 23rd April
  • Race series now open for entry; Track day planned for May; TT racing underway
  • Ride Leader volunteers needed for Sundays –  Inter, Prog & Social
  • 2022 Club Events Calendar  – Events ramping up from April, team
  •  Tour of Britain IOW 11th Sept, to open to membership for bookings
  • Mid year review – Dev Plan actions Y1-Q2 progressing; budget in control to plan, volunteering engagement is an area to grow to have cover and flexibility.
  • Secretary &  members representative nominations sought.

Next committee Tuesday 17th May @ Mountbatten, open to all member.
